I'm a retired electrician/millwright and live in the state of Oregon. I started taking pictures way back with black and white 110 and 120. In the 60s I had a Fujica and my last 35mm was Fujica 750. I moved on to digital with a Kodak 7590 and then a Kodak P850. I have now upgraded to a Nikon D300 with a Nikkor 18-200 VR lens. My loves are landscapes, nature, animals and aircraft.

My wife and I love to travel to National Parks and animal parks. My goal is to learn to become a better photographer and try to capture some of the beautiful things we've seen.

Scenes are from the Oregon Coast to Hells Canyon on the Oregon-Idaho border. From the very beautiful coast line, high volcanic mountains of the Cascades, desert country of eastern Oregon, Siskiyou mountains to the south and Columbia River to the north, evergreen forest in the west and arid country to the east, Oregon has a little bit of something for everybody.
